A hilarious comedy based on the world of Mexican professional wrestling known as Lucha Libre, Nacho Libre stars Jack Black as a young priest who's real desire has always been to be a professional wrestler. Growing up as an orphan in a remote Mexican monastery Ignacio (Black) desires to do more and be more than he is, he also has a great desire to help the orphans around him to a better life. Feeling frustrated at his situation and his options he befriends a young local man whom he nicknames Esqueleto. The resulting friendship and partnership as professional wrestlers pits them against an array of odd and funny wrestling pairs. In the end Ignacio's main desire wins him over and after being outcast for a time comes back to take on the Lucha Libre champion in a hilarious ride.
