A beautiful documentary about the lives of four mother and child relationships in the wilds of nature, told by an off screen voice (Queen Latifah). The first tale is of a mother walrus and her young pup Seela, and the second tale is of a mother polar bear and her little bear cub Nanu. From birth to the struggle of adulthood, these little animals grow and learn and adapt to whatever situation is thrown at them. They must find a way to survive the changing climate of the arctic and find food to sustain themselves or it will be their end.
